Dr. Priya Meghpara, DMD, FAGD
After earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2014, Dr. Priya Meghpara began a lifelong journey of continued learning and clinical excellence. In 2022, she proudly became the owner of 512 Smiles, where she combines her passion for dentistry with a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Driven to remain at the forefront of clinical dentistry, Dr. Priya has completed over 500 hours of continuing education, training under respected leaders in the fields of Implant Dentistry, Prosthetics, TMJ Therapy, Sleep and Airway Health, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sports Dentistry, and Biomimetic Dentistry.
Her dedication to excellence earned her the prestigious designation of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by only a small percentage of dentists nationwide. (Learn what an FAGD means [here].)
Dr. Priya believes that delivering advanced, comprehensive dental care is a lifelong commitment, one that she embraces wholeheartedly. She finds deep fulfillment in continuous growth and learning, always striving to elevate the care she provides. Personal Life
Dr. Priya and her husband, Mitchell, look forward to being active members of the Austin community for years to come. Dr. Priya and her husband, Mitchell, recently welcomed their first baby, Mills. They are thrilled to experience the joys of parenthood and have loved every moment.
In her free time, Dr. Priya partakes in a weekly bowling league, enjoys golfing with her husband, loves trying new restaurants and cuisines, is an avid Cleveland sports fan, and loves anything involving the outdoors (unless it’s cold).
Community Involvement
Giving back has been integral to Dr. Priya’s life and career. Dr. Priya has traveled to Jamaica to provide dental care to adults and children living in impoverished rural communities with little to no access to care. In Chicago, she provided after-school mentorship to children living in Chicago’s homeless shelters. Dr. Priya looks forward to continuing this tradition with her team at 512 Smiles.
